Trustee Accountability Exercise

In your small groups, discuss and report back on these 5 questions:

  • Why is it important for union trustees and pension advisory committee members to maintain a strong relationship with their local(s) and members?
  • What tools and strategies can trustees and pension advisory committee members use to be better informed of plan members’ priorities and concerns
  • What are the challenges to implementing these tools and strategies?
  • Which ones are you already doing?
  • Which ones do you think you could introduce?
